‘The first year goes by so fast’ people will tell you. But you won’t really understand it until you’re standing folding their first little onesies to put them away, never to be worn again. One day, their tiny fragile body is scrunched up on your chest, and the next, they're outgrowing clothes, outgrowing your lap, outgrowing that newborn magic. You long for a pause button, to hold on just a little longer, but time keeps moving, and they keep growing. Blink, and the newborn days are only a memory.

The days are long, but the years are heartbreakingly short.

Hold on to each precious moment before it slips away.

Cherish each back roll, those pouty lips and puffy cheeks. The way they curl up now, that they won't in just a short few weeks time.

Capture them forever so that in a few months when you look back at them you'll say 'Look how big he is now!' or 'OMG was she ever that tiny?!'

We can help you freeze time with a relaxed newborn and family portrait session. Each session is 3 hours long to allow for feeding, cuddling, and setting baby to sleep. We take care of everything while you relax with a cup of tea or coffee, you can even nap if you want! With our 18 years experience and extensive training in newborn safety and posing, your little one is in safe hands.

These portraits are ideally created when baby is under 3 weeks old to capture that newborn 'scrunch'! So book well before baby is born! Don't worry if baby is late or early, we keep emergency sessions for our booked clients so we can move your booking if necessary! Don't worry if you've missed that short window, we can photograph babies of any age. They're just less likely to scrunch up and might be awake for parts of their session.
