When you arrive, you'll be met by Snowflake the Elf who will do some Christmas Eve safety checks with the children! Then you'll go into Santa's livingroom to meet the big man himself! These sessions are 30 minutes of wonder and awe where Santa will share some Christmas magic and secrets, children can chat to him about anything they want and tell him what they'd like for Christmas and he’ll check that each child is on the Nice List. The sessions are relaxed with lots of time for each child and some preplanned activities that Santa will do to help us capture the memories. We photograph the session as it happens and create beautiful images/storybooks for you to look back on in years to come. Each child gets a little gift from Santa before they leave and the whole family can finish off their session at our hot chocolate bar staffed by Twinkle the Elf!
When do they take place?
Santa will visit for just one weekend in 2024 - 26th and 27th October.
Why October???
We need time after your session to beautifully post-process your images and allow you time to see and place your order at your Viewing Appointment - we'll schedule this for you at your photosession. Printed products are professionally made at our pro photo lab and our beautiful heirloom storybooks will be printed by a wedding album manufacturer in Italy - this all takes time as we want all of your products to be perfect for you. We also want to ensure you have plenty of time to enjoy your photographs in the lead up to the big day and to have time to make and order photogifts for family and friends. And of course Santa gets very very busy this time of year! Digital images are available for immediate download once purchased so you can start making Christmas gifts for family and friends.
How long is the session?
This year your family will have 30 minutes with Santa - we found in the past that once Santa and children get chatting, time just flies by! During this magical and private experience, you will be the only family in the studio during your session. There's plenty of time for inquisitive little ones’ questions and for shy children to warm up to Santa as well as for us to get those perfect portraits for you.
Can I bring somebody else?
The session is valid for siblings from one family only. If you wish to bring cousins/friends or anybody else, please book a session per family. This is particularly important if you wish to have an heirloom storybook made for your family but it also makes sure that Santa has enough time to do his activities with each child. If you book sessions back-to-back with each other we are happy to discuss photographing everybody together between the 2 sessions - this will depend on numbers and ages and must be arranged in advance.
Can I change my day or time?
All bookings are final, we have Santa Claus for a limited amount of time before he returns to the North Pole and we expect to sell out quickly, so please note, no amendments can be made to your booking. If children are sick, we will endeavour to reschedule you to one of the other days if possible/available, or we can do a non-Santa photoshoot in our Christmas set instead - we have a number of days set aside for this.
What to bring or wear?
Your Christmas PJs, festive jumper or party gear are all great choices! The set is traditional Christmas colours so reds/greens/browns/golds and other warm winter colours work well. Red velvet dresses and red/black check shirts work particularly well! We will post outfit inspiration on our social channels a little nearer the time, so do keep an eye out!
How much does it cost?
The ticket price is €100 and includes:
- a private meet and greet with Santa Claus
- a little gift from the North Pole for each child
- your portrait session
- €100 credit towards any of our portrait packages.
After your session we'll book you in for your Viewing Appointment where you will get to see your gorgeous portraits and decide what Portrait Package you would like to purchase. If you choose to purchase our gorgeous Heirloom Personalised Storybook, we'll design it at this appointment with you.
